Good mistake
I just checked my email and it said I bought something, I guess my offer of $75 on a Canon A-1 with 50mm f/1.4 lens went through (i just wanted the lens) Never thought about how good AS IS could potentially be, We'll see the condition when it arrives but I have a few Ideas what I might be able to do.
Going here might be a good idea if it's decent. Either trade-in for more than $75 or put in the money to get it repaired.
I think that was a great mistake that I just made, I hope it works out!
Now back to ebay to cancel any other bids hanging around!

Tomorrow I am planning on going into the city (NYC) on a little bit of an adventure. I know it'll probably not turn out at all how I'm planning but here is the plan so far...
There is a workshop at the Lomography store from 1-3 that I want to go to, mainly just because I haven't been there in a couple of months (or maybe a lot more than a couple) and I'll get a 10% discount if i participate. (i'll hopefully remember to bring )
Afterwards I'm hopefully going to meet up with my brother somewhere in the city and head on our way to a concert on governor's island.

So one morning , i Think it was last monday. I got up, went on ebay, searched for "nikonos" and we can basically say I saw and bid on the first camera with lens that was listed. It ended soon after and I won the camera for almost $200. I can't say I know how much it's really worth but it cost less than it would have on KEH which was my second option.
A little while later I did more research and searching and I bought an O-ring set for the camera, just in case I guess. So as of now that's all I have. Can't say for sure if the camera works at all seeing as I don't have it yet. Yes i've gotten packages weeks later than I expected but this time I really want to see it.
Here's that plan.
I'm going to get it, hopefully, one of the next few days.
Then I'm going to try it out (probably not in water since I don't really have that option, but maybe i'll figure something out)
after that I guess I'll have to go from there. I hope to either really like the camera and find it useful or be able to resell it on ebay, with the o-rings. Hopefully i'll at least be able to "get my money back" if not make a bit of a profit.
so there is my plan for getting myself $200+ back I Know it might not work at all but I'd say it's worth trying since I won't really have much of an option.
